Winter Blooms consist of 12 separate designs. The Poinsettia Bloom makes a lovely brooch or a beautiful addition to other holiday projects such as the Santa Christmas Wreath shown below. The two Holly Leaf designs are also intended to be used as a decorative touch for winter projects, such the Santa Christmas Wreath and the Holly Brooch shown below.

There are two Applied Holly Branch designs, one sized for the 4x4 hoop, one for the 5x7 hoop. Both of these branch designs can be used to make festive borders on holiday projects. The leaves on the branches are 3D, applied during the embroidery process. There is a single Applied Holly Leaf and a grouping of 6 Applied Holly Leaves included in the set.

The Poinsettia Bloom is made using either the 3 Poinsettia Petals designs or the 3 Poinsettia Leaf designs. The Poinsettia Petals in the medium and large size use the 5x7 hoop, the small uses the 4x4 hoop. If you do not have a 5x7 hoop you can use the 3 Poinsettia Leaf designs to make the same bloom. The Poinsettia Petal designs, Poinsettia Leaf designs and the Holly Leaf designs all have a channel of stitching in the center of each petal so that a wire can be inserted into the petal or leaf in order to shape the finished form. The Applied Holly Leaves do not have this center channel of stitching as they will be attached to the background fabric during the embroidery process.

ART, HUS, JEF, PES and VIP format contain all 12 designs. PCS and SEW contain the 4x4 hoop size designs only. SEW format does not include the grouping of 6 Applied Holly Leaves. Complete directions are included in the color charts.
