Use your embroidery machine to jump-start the process of needle felting!

This tutorial includes seven embroidery designs that may be used to form larger groupings. While it is possible to hand felt these designs with a hand-felting tool, it is recommended that you use a needle-felting machine. The sample project was created on a Baby Lock Embellisher. Step by step instructions guide you through the embroidery to needle-felting process and also show you how to create 3D flowers, leaves and "berries" as shown on the sample projects. Directions to make the pillow shown below are included.

Please note, these designs require a needle-felting tool or machine, an embroidery machine and 4x4 and 5x7 hoops. Recommended fabrics and fibers are 100% wool felt, felted wool fabric and wool roving.
