This sweet little bird was created in honor of my new daughter-in-law, Lydia! My son, who is a graphic artist, used the little bird motif as artwork for a number of wedding related items, including the invitations and thank-you cards. I decided that it would also make a lovely embroidery design and from there this design set was born! I hope you will find as many fun applications for these designs as I have!

Although each design will stand alone as an embellishment all by itself, you may wish to create a continuous border arrangement for skirts, jackets or home décor items. The little bird motif may be perched on a monogram letter or name. The large heart shaped scroll works perfectly for a monogram frame.

There are 18 embroidery designs in this set. Four will fit only into the 6x10" hoop, ten will fit in the 5x7" hoop and four will fit into the 4x4" hoop. Sixteen of these designs are appliqué.

The scroll/bird designs are saved as two different design files. One to use with the same appliqué fabric in both the bird and scroll portion of the design, and one to be used with different appliqué fabrics for the bird and the scroll. Directions, helpful hints and suggestions are included with the color charts along with photos of each design.

Please read the directions before beginning. All appliqué designs may be used as non-appliqué designs simply by skipping the appliqué material and appliqué position stitch sequences. ART and PES format contain all 18 designs. HUS, JEF and VIP contain only the 5x7 and 4x4 designs.
